Jordan McKee is coasting through the last few weeks of ninth grade, and everything is going to plan until the day he starts to see things that aren’t real - things that can’t be real. Overlaying the real world, he sees images of forests and animals, along with people going about everyday tasks. When Jordan begins to interact with them, it places himself and his loved ones in grave danger.

Soon Jordan finds himself at the center of a conspiracy that has been waiting millennia for him to be born. Everyone has their own agenda and Jordan is caught in the middle. To defend himself and his family, Jordan must learn to control his powers. But the only people that can teach him are in another world.
